CAT Titles

Most dogs love to chase. The Coursing Ability Test (CAT) is an all breed lure coursing event. Dogs run by themselves around the course. Enthusiastically following the lure and completing the course earns a pass on the test. Titles are awarded based on the total number of passes.

Coursing Ability(CA)=Three passes.
Coursing Ability Advanced(CAA)=Ten total passes.
Coursing Ability Excellent(CAX)=Twenty five total passes.
Coursing Ability Excellent 2(CAX2)=Fifty total passes.
Higher numbered CAX titles are awarded for every additional twenty five passes.
